At Payson Junior High, we care about our students and want to make sure they have every opportunity to succeed. While PJHS and Nebo School District do not offer or manage online classes, we want to share a great resource available to all Utah public school students. Through Utah SEATS, students can take accredited online courses to replace a class period, get ahead on credits, or retake a class.

That being said, we see the most success from students who engage in face-to-face learning. Our teachers at Payson Junior High are dedicated and passionate about providing a supportive, interactive classroom experience, and we strongly believe in the benefits of in-person education.

Once a student is enrolled with an online provider, our counselors will not have access to any of the student’s information or records, including login credentials, coursework, or academic progress. Registration, enrollment, and the management of online coursework are the sole responsibility of the student and their guardian. Any technical issues or concerns related to the online platform must be addressed directly with the chosen online provider. This learning option requires a high level of commitment and active participation from both the student and guardian to ensure academic success. Additionally, we encourage guardians to stay informed about their student’s credit status and the graduation requirements needed to earn their Payson High School diploma.
