Schedule Your CCR Meeting...
Attending a College and Career Readiness (CCR) meeting with your school counselor is essential when planning your student's high school and college, and career plans. During these meetings, your school counselor will cover items such as academic planning, YouScience, high school credits, navigating the counselor's website, career pathways, concurrent enrollment, advanced course options like ALC and MTECH, Opportunity Scholarships, and support for your child's social and emotional well-being.
To schedule your 9th-grade CCR meeting, please click on the graduation cap with your counselor's name and follow the instructions on their scheduling page.

Early College at Payson High
Payson High School Students can earn college credit as they attend PHS. The options are CE credits at Payson High, a Gen Ed certificate, ALC college courses, or technical education certificates at MTECH. To be eligible to enroll in CE credits, students need to have a 3.0 GPA to take core classes and a 2.0 to enroll in CTE college classes. GEN ED Certificate - UVU
Please schedule an appointment with our Payson Representative, Reba Vest, If you want to earn your Gen Ed certificate at PHS. The parent and student need to be present for the potential scheduled meeting, and the student needs to have a 3.0 GPA in their core classes and a 2.0 to take any CTE college courses.
(ALC) Advance Learning Center
At the Advanced Learning Center (ALC), early college and career technology courses are provided to Nebo High School students. A wide range of advanced learning opportunities is offered, including robotics, digital media, engineering, architecture, digital marketing, health science, aviation, IT classes, and more. Free transportation is provided by a school bus to and from Payson High School daily.
Mountainland Technical College
Visit with your High School Counselor to plan your future enrollment at MTECH.
Utah County's Technical College
High School students can attend MTech and work towards certificates and apprenticeships.
Tuition is waived for Payson High School students.
Students are responsible for fees and materials.
Utah Opportunity Scholarship
The Opportunity Scholarship is a simplified, statewide, achievement-based program that encourages students to complete advanced courses in core subject areas while in high school, aims to make higher education more accessible, and rewards students for preparing academically for college.
