Welcome to the official page dedicated to Payson City's prestigious Mayor's Award. This esteemed recognition is bestowed upon exceptional individuals from Payson Junior High School who exemplify outstanding character and display optimistic, productive, effective, and positive behaviors in the classroom, the school hallways, and within our school community.
The Mayor's Award stands as a symbol of excellence, representing the very best of Payson Junior High School. This accolade is a recognition and a celebration of the qualities that define our school's values. Each month, a student who has consistently demonstrated exceptional character and behavior is chosen for this honor.
The heart of the Mayor's Award lies in the nomination process. Esteemed teachers and staff members play a pivotal role in identifying deserving students who meet the criteria for this prestigious recognition. Their keen eye for exceptional traits helps to ensure that only the most deserving individuals are considered, and ultimately, a winner is chosen each month of the year.
Kaylee Pinto
Kaylee Pinto was nominated to receive the September's Payson City's Mayor's Award. She is an exemplary student and is loved by many.
Miah Martin
Miah Martin was nominated to receive the October Payson City's Mayor's Award. She is incredibly kind to her peers and is an excellent student.
Alfredo Lopez- Flores
Alfredo was nominated to receive the November Payson City Mayor's Award. He is an incredibly hard worker and is an outstanding leader among his peers.
Anaya Nielson
Anaya Nielson was nominated to receive the December Payson City Mayor's award. She is a shining example of kindness among her peers and an amazing student at PJHS. She is always positive and we are so lucky to have her as a student.
Moses Mortensen
Moses Mortensen was nominated to recieve the February Payson City Mayor's award. He shines academically and as a natural leader, actively engaging in discussions and guiding classmates effortlessly.
Stetson Wetsel
Stetson Wetsel was nominated to recieve the March Payson City Mayor's award. Stetson exemplifies unwavering dedication to service, resilience in adversity, and outstanding academic performance, making him a deserving nominee for the Mayor's Award for his exceptional contributions to the school community.
Cristian Jiminez
Cristian Jiminez was nominated to recieve the April Payson City Mayor's award. Cristian is always helping others. He has a positive attitude and is always willing to participate.
