Census 2020

The U.S. Census Bureau has embarked on a nationwide effort to inform everyone living in the United States and five of its territories about the upcoming 2020 Census and to encourage them to respond online, by phone, or by mail.

Everyone counts. The census counts every person living in the U.S. once, only once, and in the right places.

It’s about fair representation. Every 10 years, the results of the census are used to reapportion the House of Representatives, determining how many seats each state gets.

Congratulations to Renik Carman for receiving the Mayor's Award in March.  Here is what his teachers had to say about him.  COngratulations!  We are lucky to have you here at PJHS. Renik is kind to all the students in his class, including those who are sometimes hard to get along with. He is an exemplary student, has a good attitude, and is always so helpful to his classmates. During remediation time, when he is caught up, he chooses to help other students with their work instead of any fun activity he could be doing!

Ephraim Wilde has always come to class with a smile and a positive attitude. He is kind to others and works hard on all of his assignments. He works so hard to be able to do this every day, and I appreciate him so much.
