We have amazing students at PJHS who had a great time participating in Red Ribbon Week prior to Fall Break. These are pics from the photo booth our counseling department set up during lunch.

Spanish Class Wax Museum

Spanish 2 presented their wax museum this past week to faculty and students. Students did an excellent job with the project. Students spent time researching, memorizing and making a display to present at the museum. They also memorized their speeches in Spanish and English.

Red Ribbon Week Assembly Available for Viewing

Last week the faculty and students of PJHS were privileged to experience an amazing Red Ribbon assembly presented by Pro Rodeo bareback rider and motivational speaker, Braxten Nielsen. He has kindly allowed us to provide you the YouTube link to be able to watch with your families.

Social Studies Monopoly

Last week Ms. Tervort's and Ms. Bird's World Geography classes got to learn about different economic systems. Our classes played Monopoly with some different rules to learn about Capitalism, Socialism and Communism.

Our school was recently privileged to experience the amazing art skills of Ms. Simons' students when they held their annual art show in our school library. We love Ms. Simons' class and the many students who serve one another in this setting. 

National Hispanic Heritage Month

In Spanish classes students have been celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month.  During this month Americans celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.  The celebration starts on September 15th culminating on
