We are approaching the exciting time of the year when students get to display their hard-earned knowledge on our end-of-year tests. Both 8th and 9th grade testing begins on Thursday, April 22nd and will run through Friday, April 30th. These are our students who come in after school on Thursdays to Mr. Wright's room (C-76) to play Dungeons & Dragons and Chess. Everyone is invited to come and have some fun on Thursdays and join our D&D/Chess Club.

Last week, the NASA rover Perseverance landed on the surface of Mars just minutes after school let out. NASA did a live feed of this landing. Some students came into Mr. Wright's room after school to watch the landing and see the first few pictures of Mars sent to Earth from this Rover.  The Perseverance has as its main mission to search for life on Mars and has landed inside of an ancient lake bed on the surface of the planet. It was an exciting day for many of our avid science students here at PJHS!
