In light of the recent events in Florida and other tragedies that have happened around the country, Nebo School District is teaming up with KSL on February 22, 2018, as we Stand Up for a Safe Utah. Utah has a very powerful resource and that is the SafeUT app. As you all know, the SafeUT app provides real-time crisis intervention and has been proven to save lives and stopped planned school attacks.
Our goal is to make sure that every parent, student and educator is aware of the app and has it downloaded on their phone.
Parent-teacher conferences will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, February 21st from 3:30 to 8:00 pm. Teachers will be meeting with parents and students in their individual classrooms. Please come and see us!
Last Tuesday, the female faculty at Payson Jr. High held a Galentine's Day party for ladies to celebrate ladies. Gifts were exchanged, waffles were eaten, memories were made.

Nebo School District is always trying to improve communication and responsiveness to our stakeholders. To that end, we invite students, parents and teachers to give feedback on teachers and administrators in Nebo District schools.
PJHS teacher extraordinaire, Mrs. Holt, recieved a PEAK award this month for her dedication to and hard work for the students and other faculty at Payson Jr. High School.
“Mrs. Holt goes above and beyond the call of duty. Although her increasingly busy home life (she is a mother of two beautiful children!) pulls her home more and more, she fights it and recommits herself to her profession daily. While she is at school, she is 100% at school. She juggles three different courses--Honors English for seventh grade, keyboarding, and student council."
Eileen Quintana, the Nebo Native American Program Manager, took 26 Nebo School District students on a trip to the state capitol. Three students (Canyon Haveron, SHHS, Ciera Alldredge, PHS, and Alfredo Quintana, MMHS) job shadowed senators and representatives for the day, which gave them an inside look into the process of law-making.
