Battle of the Books Club
Come join the most "prestigious" club here at Payson Junior High, the "Battle of the Books" club. We play games, eat food, read books, and test each other on our knowledge of what we read. Do not miss out. The last day to sign up is November 12. Sign up in the library today!
Talent Show Auditions
Talent show auditions are all this week! Sign up by the front office. You can also send in a video of your talent if it won't fit on the stage-- we want a big variety like we had last year, so let's see your videos! Veterans Day Parade
There will be a parade to honor Veterans on Thursday, November 11th. The parade will go by our school between 10 and 10:30. Teachers may give students the option to gather at the front of the school to honor our servicemen and women during the parade.
Video Project for PJHS Students
We are looking for some cute, fun, non-camera shy younger siblings who would be willing to give a shout out to their older sibling here at PJHS (we are envisioning students 7 and younger). It would only take 5 minutes or less. Mrs. Mangum would be available most times of the school day to film, or if you want to just film them yourself and send it to Mrs. Mangum then that would be even better! Send videos to: april.mangum [at] nebo.edu Please make sure to include the full name of your junior high student and the first name of the sibling being filmed, and try to keep the videos to one minute or less.
Here are the questions we will ask or that you can ask if you are filming it on your own:
1. How much do you love ____________? (fill in the name of your junior high student)
2. Why do you love them so much?
P.S. This is a surprise to our junior high kids so please don't let them know. :-)
