Yearbook Staff Applications
Any 8th grader interested in being on next year's Yearbook Staff, applications will be available this week in the office or from Mrs. Holt in room B50. They will be due May 10 at 7:45 am and will not be taken late. Let Mrs. Holt know if you have any questions and good luck to all that apply!
Yearbooks for Sale
We are now accepting payments for the 21-22 PJHS yearbooks. The fee is $25 and can be paid at the finance office, or online at My School Fees. If students are wondering if they have already paid, there is a poster hanging near the finance window listing completed payments sorted by student ID number. Early yearbook pickup will be available during 2nd period on May 26th for students who have paid all school fees and library fines.
Library Reminders
May 6th is the last day to check out books from the library. All books must be returned to the library by May 12th, and then it will be closed for the year. All books must be returned and fines paid before students can purchase tickets to Lagoon.
Fine Arts Gala

Teacher Appreciation Week
Teacher appreciation week is coming up May 2nd through May 6th. The PTA is excited to celebrate our teachers and staff one last time this year. If you can donate food items they would really appreciate it! Thank you for all your help this year! Please have your donations at the front office by 10:30 am on the day you select. Jazz Band
PJHS Night of Jazz was last Saturday, Apr. 23. Thank you so much for all who came and supported the jazz band! PJHS Band Showcase will be May 10th for all PJHS band students.
School Hike
The School Spring hike is May 17th. All are welcome but all hikers must qualify by passing the required physical test. Sign up with Mr. Archer and get all the details.
Final Badminton Tournament
The last Badminton Tournament of the year is May 26th from 7-9 pm. This will be a full house, using both gyms! Space is limited so get a partner and sign up today with Mr. Archer.
Code to Success Parent Meeting
The registration for Nebo School District Code to Success is still open. Code to Success is held from June 13 - July 15, 2022, at the Nebo Advanced Learning Center, for students in 7th -12th grade. The ALC is located at 161 E 400 N, Salem, UT 84653. Classes will be held Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. If you are interested please sign up soon, so that we can adequately plan for our students with equipment and instructors. For more information please go to: ctsutah.org

Lagoon Field Trip
We are looking forward to our Lagoon field trip next month. The cost for the chartered bus ride and entrance to the park will be $50 ($52 for a credit card payment - we ask that exact amounts be brought if using cash to avoid long lines). Because bus tickets are limited, we will only be selling to 9th grade students starting May 4th, and then 8th grade students can begin purchasing on May 5th. The finance office will be closed May 12th and 13th so Lagoon money will not be taken those days. Remember, to be eligible for extra curricular activities such as this field trip, you will need to make sure that all of your outstanding school fees and library fines are paid. Also, you must not have more than 2 hours of detention time owed to the school (since the beginning of the year) for tardies or sluffs. The bus will leave at 8:00 am on May 19th and return between 4 and 5 pm. We look forward to a great end of the year celebration at Lagoon!
