Sterling Scholar

**Sterling scholar applications for the 2024-2025 school year will open August 1st and will be due Septemeber 27th @ 4:00 P.M.**

A Sterling Scholar is a high school senior who is publicly recognized and awarded for the pursuit of excellence in scholarship, leadership and citizenship in the State of Utah. To be selected a Sterling Scholar nominee students must have extraordinary scholarship scores as well as service in leadership and community service/citizenship opportunities at their Utah public high school. 

Winners of the school-level competition, which will take place in October, will be honored by having their photographs displayed by the front office. In addition, school winners will represent Payson High School at the Regional competition next spring.
