PJHS students had a lot of fun on the annual Big Tree Hike today!
Yesterday, the faculty and staff gathered in the Media Center to celebrate the end of the year and acknowledge some of the wonderful people who are moving on to different phases of their lives next year. Teachers who will be leaving our school were recognized and thanked for their hard work. The PJHS faculty and staff also took some time to celebrate and thank our wonderful principal, Mr. Swenson, who will be retiring this year. Mr. Swenson surprised everybody with a beautifully-carved grizzly bear for our school to proudly display!
The recipient of the Mayor Award for May is 9th grade PJHS student Darwin Fackrell. Darwin was selected for this award because he works hard and is willing to help others around him. He is motivated and responsibile, and is a lot of fun to be around. Here's what some of Darwin's teachers have to say about him:
Here are some photos of the Art of Constructions project Mr. Smith's 9th grade students have done. Way to go!
Students in our biking class at PJHS went on a ride to Salem Pond. It looks like they had a stellar time!
