Freshman Day/8th Grade Assembly
Freshman day is coming up on March 3rd. This is where all 9th grade students are invited to attend a short presentation at Payson High School where they will learn about school procedures and activities for their upcoming sophomore year. 9th grade teachers will be assigned times to walk with students to the high school for the presentation. During this time, 8th grade students will be attending an assembly with the NetSmartz organization to learn about internet and social media safety practices.
Photos of 9th Grade Wrestlers Requested
Our Yearbook advisor has requested any photos of 9th grade wrestlers that parents would like to submit for consideration in the yearbook. The yearbook staff has photos of freshmen in each sport except for wrestling. If you have any you’d like considered, please email them to kristina.hansen [at] nebo.edu.
Student Talent Show Auditions
Student Talent Show sign ups are going to be available from February 20-28 in the front office and in Mrs. Hansen's room (B53b). Auditions will be held 4th period March 1-3. The Talent Show is on March 8th.
Student Council Applications
Student Council Applications for the 23-24 school year will be available in the front office and in Mrs. Hansen's room (B53b) from March 13-22. Applications are due March 24. Interviews will be March 27-30.
Fine Arts Concerts
Band concert is Tuesday, Feb. 22 @ 7 p.m. in the PJHS cafetorium. Our orchestra Winter Concert is coming up on Tuesday, February 28th at 7:00 pm. Admission is free - come support our talented musicians!
PJHS Needs a New PTA President
We are looking for a new PTA president to coordinate events and activities at our school for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. If you are interested, please contact one of the administrators.
