Yearbook Staff Applications
Any 8th grader interested in being on next year's Yearbook Staff, applications will be available this week in the office or from Mrs. Holt in room B50. They will be due May 10 at 7:45 am and will not be taken late. Let Mrs. Holt know if you have any questions and good luck to all that apply!
Cafeteria Announcements
Starting May 4th, students will again need to be entering their ID numbers to obtain their free lunch in the cafeteria. The cost for lunches will return to normal next school year. Please also keep in mind that federal regulations require our lunch staff to provide students with specific meal items in their breakfasts and lunches. We’d ask that students please be civil with our cafeteria staff who work so hard to prepare and distribute the food, as well as keep our cafeteria clean and organized. Our workers are not requiring students to take specific food items, the federal government does. Please treat our staff with kindness and respect.
Finally, we are beginning a sharing table in the cafeteria where students can place items they do not want to eat (rather than throwing them away). The food or drink just needs to be unopened so that anyone taking it can be sure of its safety. Any items on the table will be free game for others to take as they desire.
Library Reminders
May 6th is the last day to check out books from the library. All books must be returned to the library by May 12th, and then it will be closed for the year. All books must be returned and fines paid before students can purchase tickets to Lagoon.
Fine Arts Gala
We’d like to invite parents and students to attend our Fine Arts Gala on Thursday, April 28th from 5:30 to 7:00. See the details by clicking on this flier.
