Last week Mr. Gowans’ students investigated “Missing Aliens” in a simulation geared toward understanding Dmitri Mendeleev and how he used patterns in contributing to the creation of the modern Periodic Table. 

A new after school club is available at PJHS! If you have any desire to learn about the collectible card game, Magic the Gathering, or to find new partners to compete against, we’ll meet every Thursday in Ms. M. Hansen’s room B54 from 2:35-3:30.  Any student interested is invited to join us. Bring your own cards if you have them.

National Junior Honor Society Applications Available

If you like doing digital art or would like to learn how, there is an art class now available. It is Tuesday mornings in Springville. The class is taught by an artist who currently works for Lucasfilm Animation as an assistant technical director on their Star Wars tv shows. All skill levels are welcome. All you need is an iPad and a stylus (like an Apple Pencil). Please fill out the linked Goggle form to request a locker for the upcoming school year.  Lockers will be assigned only if requested.  

Come to our Open House next Tuesday, August 16th from 1 to 4 pm. Teachers will be in classrooms to meet parents and students and answer any questions you may have.
