Testing Schedule

District-wide we are doing something different for the end of level testing this year. We are going to have the end of level testing over seven school days. We are doing this because the ninth graders will be taking a pre-ACT test that is timed. The ninth grade students will get a score back at a later date that is a predictor of how well they will do on the ACT test. We want you to be aware the 9th graders CANNOT take concurrent enrollment classes at the high school if they choose to opt out of these exams. Testing begins Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. and will be each morning until the following Thursday. The schedule is attached below and posted on our website.

There are four tests total. The English and Reading portion of the test will be 90 minutes after instructions are read. Once a student starts taking one part of the test, they will not be allowed to stop that portion of the test and come back and take it at a later time, just like the ACT. With that in mind, please get your student to school on time so they can begin the test right away. Also please make sure that you do not check out your student during the middle of their first period, since they will not be able to make up the test if they leave. The other tests are 45 minutes each. They will take the English tests with their English teacher, Science with their Science teacher, and Math with their Math teacher, so you can look at the schedule and see when your particular student will be testing.  Thanks for your support.
