PJHS Parents,

We have experienced quite the excitement at school this week after the Today Show aired a story about our bicycle program. Our program was part of a study conducted by Specialized Bicycle Company researching links between physical activity and academic achievement. We have continued to use the bicycles in PE classes to help students be able to focus during classes as well as gain healthy lifestyle habits.

Additionally, we are entering the season of winter sports and musical assemblies, performances and festivals. Our musical groups have been learning and practicing some beautiful pieces so you won’t want to miss any opportunity to see them perform. The school calendar of events can be viewed from our website at pjhs.nebo.edu . Just click on the “View Full Calendar” on the left side of the page under “Upcoming Events”.

Also, if you are a user of social media, please “Like” our Facebook page - Payson Junior High School, Payson, Utah. You will then receive all website updates directly to your news feed. If you are a Twitter or Google+ user, you can connect to the school website as well. Then, continue to support our school by “Sharing” our stories to your own timelines so we can keep spreading our good news!

Cancer Sucks!

Our student council and some friends of Alexis Fuentes, a PHS student, are selling Tootsie Pops during lunch for 50 cents each to help with his medical costs. We have collected almost $300 to date and will continue to sell the Pops until we run out! Thanks to all of the students who have purchased a Pop!
