Yesterday, the faculty and staff gathered in the Media Center to celebrate the end of the year and acknowledge some of the wonderful people who are moving on to different phases of their lives next year. Teachers who will be leaving our school were recognized and thanked for their hard work. The PJHS faculty and staff also took some time to celebrate and thank our wonderful principal, Mr. Swenson, who will be retiring this year. Mr. Swenson surprised everybody with a beautifully-carved grizzly bear for our school to proudly display!

Governor Gary R. Herbert has declared May 3, 2018, as “Utah Prevention Day!”

SCHOOL CELEBRATIONS
Utah Prevention Day gives secondary schools around the state an opportunity to celebrate the prevention lessons that students have learned throughout the year. Teachers can review and reinforce those life skills taught before students leave for the summer. We want to protect our students from the dangers of drugs, under-age drinking, violence, crime and bullying.
