Valentine Grams

Love was in the air at Payson Junior High. The students of PJHS were in a lovely mood this Valentines day season. Students bought candies, flowers, and wrote notes to their fellow students. The PJHS student council organized, sorted, and sold the candies and flowers to the students. The student council sold the items at lunch February 2nd-10th. The students could either buy something, write a note, and have it delivered,or they could just write a note to make their friends day.

The student council cut hearts of all different colors a few weeks in advance to prepare. When they received the written hearts, they filed them by their 3rd period teachers class. They  then marked who got a heart and who didn’t on their lists. They stapled the candies to the hearts, and got them ready to deliver.

The students were anticipating February 13th, the day the Valentine Grams would be delivered. Some students even made their own valentines to distribute. It seemed like good deeds were happening everywhere before the day arrived. Everyone was complimenting each other, and being kind.

When the day arrived, the student council were in a rush to get the Valentine Grams  ready to deliver. When they were ready, the student council went to every class and delivered the items to the students. Smiles erupted on the students faces as they received their notes and candies. “It was really fun, and everyone got something” an eighth grade student claims. In conclusion, the Valentine Grams were a big success, and made the students of Payson Junior High’s day.
