Students who achieve all passing grades, less than 3 tardies and 90% attendance in a term qualify for a special in-school activity in our "Grizzly Club Lounge". This month's activity, sponsored by our monumentally amazing math department, involved teams of 5 students. The students were given straws and tape and were to build a tower. As they made their towers, teachers encouraged each group to think about what shapes would give a good base. The team with the highest tower that could stand on its own won. The top three teams earned a prize.
