Stellar Science Fair Students

Nebo School District's annual Science Fair was held Wednesday, February 25 at Landmark High School. This fair was for students grades 7-12 and had a total of 40 projects presented.

 Payson Junior was able to send 6 students: Dan Havens (8th), Abby Hine (7th), Abby Maloy (7th), Isabel Maloy (9th), Ahren Schmoyer (9th), Sarah Sullivan (9th), and Lily Wimmer (9th).Mrs. Anderson, Science Fair Advisor at PJHS said, " I am so proud of all of the hard work and effort my students put into their projects. They spent countless hours re-testing and perfecting their projects. Outstanding job to everyone who participated, and special congratulations to the winners." 

Two of Payson's own seventh grade students were able to place at the prestigious fair, with Abby Maloy taking 1st place, and Abby Hine placing 2nd. These girls, along with Isabelle Maloy, Sarah Sullivan, and Lily Wimmer, will be moving on to the BYU Science Fair March 23-26.
