Congratulations goes out to our very own Bradlee Wharton for being selected for the Mayor's Recognition Award at the September Payson City Council Meeting! Bradlee is an 8th grader who possesses many great qualities. Math teacher Mr. Smith says of Bradlee, "Brad is a hard working self motivated student. he is always willing to help others, and has a positive attitude. I have enjoyed having Brad in my class , and look forward to working with him this school year. Great Job on receiving the Mayor's Award!"

Spanish teacher Mr. Carlisle elaborates,"I feel that Bradlee represents many who are like him at Payson Junior High School.  He is respectful and that means he cares about himself, his education, and all those who come to school with him.  I enjoy that he brings to class an open mind so he can learn and ask questions.  He is resilient and I really enjoy the effort and hard work of Bradlee."

Bradlee helps out in the offices and his supervisor, Mrs. Wilson compliments, " Brad always has a positive attitude and a smile on his face.  He is eager to help with the duties that we ask of him on a daily basis.  He never complains when asked to run notes to a class room even when he has to do it over and over.  He is very professional when answering the office phones and is able to convey the information both accurately and promptly.  Brad is efficient in all we ask of him and just a great kid!  We really appreciate and enjoy him working in the front office and are grateful for his contribution."

Congratulations Bradlee on this well-deserved honor!
