PJHS Parents,
Coming up in two weeks will be our first reward activity for those students who are in the Grizzly Club. Students who have qualified were given a Grizzly card in the past couple of days. Student with Grizzly cards have the opportunity to go see “The Peanuts Movie” on Nov 20th during the school day. Members can pick up a permission slip in the office and have a parent sign it and bring the permission and $2 to the finance office by November 18th. The bus will be loading at 8:05.
To qualify for the Grizzly Club students had to:
Grades
• A student is to have at least a 3.0 grade point average.
• A student may have no deficient grades (D’s, F’s, I’s) at the end of the term.
Attendance
• A student must be in attendance 90% of the term (with no unexcused absences). This
equates to approximately no more than 40 period absences (5 days) allowed per term
• A student may not have more than three tardies in a term.
• A student may choose to make up tardies by serving detention.
Citizenship
• A student may not have any N’s or U’s on their citizenship grade in any class.
• A student may not have any suspensions for the reward term and the current term will
be a probationary period for the next term.

Serving Detentions
We have a few students who owe detention time.These need to be made up ASAP! Please review with your student if they owe detention time and make a plan to get it done. The times are as follows:
After School - Students can serve detention on Mondays and Wednesdays in Room A23.
Before School - Mrs. Wagner’s Room D148 (must let teacher know it is for detention).
Den Time - Room A23 Monday through Thursday - ONLY WITH ALL PASSING GRADES.

Wrestling- The first wrestling match of the year is Mapleton here @ 3:30pm. Come support our wrestlers!
Boys basketball- Tryouts will be complete by Tuesday night. Next week we will post those members of the team.
Girls Basketball- Tryouts will be complete by Tuesday night. Next week we will post those members of the team.
