The recipient of the Mayor Award for February is PJHS student Bryson Jensen. Bryson was selected for this award because of his positivity, friendliness, and determination. Here's what some of Bryson's teachers have to say about him:

Bryson is in my English class.  He is such a good student.  He does his work, stays on task, and is a good friend to his classmates.  He is also quite the artist.  For his Martin Luther King Junior project, he drew a picture on a poster board of MLK for the wall. He is a great guy. I am so happy I get to teach him. – Ms. DeGraffenried

Bryson has been in my social studies classes the last two years and also on my wrestling team. I have seen him work through some very tough situations and succeed. He has learned to overcome discouragement by keeping a positive attitude. Bryson is friendly and works well with others. I wholeheartedly recommend Bryson for this award. - Mr. Ward

Bryson is determined to always do his best.  He works hard to finish his work and do it to the best of his ability. – Mr. Houston

Bryson is good at asking for help when he needs it. He works very hard to keep up his grades. He is also great at art. I love to see the beautiful pictures he creates. He is always polite to teachers and other students. – Mrs. Sepos

Congratulations, Bryson! Thank you for being an example to all of us here at PJHS.
