The recipient of the Mayor Youth Recognition Award for December is Hayley Ringger. Hayley is receiving this award for her outstanding positive attitude, willingness to help others, and the kindness she shows to her fellow students at PJHS. Take a look at what some of the faculty members at our school have to say about Hayley:

"I had Hayley last year in 7th grade Honors Math.  She is such a positive person and always went the extra mile in my class.  She has a great attitude and enthusiasm for everything she does.  Hayley is perfect for this award!" – Mrs. Purcell

"Hayley works in the front office as an office aide during third period each day. We have a very busy office, and each day Hayley jumps in without even being asked to answer phones, deliver notes, and any other task that needs to be addressed. She does each task without complaint and with a cheerful attitude. We rely heavily on Hayley to help the office run smoothly. She is an amazing girl, and we appreciate all she does." – Mrs. Penny Wilson

"Hayley is a very good student in my class. She is prompt and pays attention well. She sets a good example for her fellow students. I recommend her without reservation to receive this award." – Mr. Ward

"As well as being an excellent student, Hayley is an outstanding citizen and kind person. I love having her in choir. Hayley works hard, is very conscientious, and is a friend to all." – Mrs. Bolz

"Hayley is always on top of the ball. She participates in many outside activities and is in honors classes. She is willing to ask questions and help other students. She rocks at being a good example to her peers." – Ms. LeBaron

"Hayley is always willing to complete the assigned tasks from the office.  She works hard and is very pleasant with everyone she associates with.  Hayley works well with others and is a dedicated student.  In addition, she has excellent attendance. PJHS is proud of Hayley Ringger." – Principal Swenson

Thank you for being such an awesome example to all of us at PJHS, Hayley. Congratulations!
