Attendance Tip
Talk to your child about why going to school every day is critical and important unless they are sick. If your child seems reluctant to go to school, find out why and work with the teacher, administrator or afterschool provider to get them excited about going to school.
PTSA Announcements
The PTSA would like to thank “Plunder”, a local store, that made a donation to the PTSA that will really help get them going for the year.
We would encourage all parents and students to join our PTSA! It is a great group that helps the students and teachers throughout the entire year!
The first meeting for the PTSA will be on Sept. 8th during out Den Time, 10:28-10:51, we encourage all parents and students to come attend this meeting.

School Spirit
The school would like to promote school spirit by having students purchase and wear a “Grizzly Nation” t-shirt. The green ones are $6 and the grey ones are $8. We encourage students to wear these shirts on Friday’s to show their school spirit.
Locker Concerns
If your student is having a hard time with their locker please have them check in at the office. We will help anyone who needs it.
Girls Tennis
Girls, it’s time to start another great season of Jr. High Girls Tennis. Practice will be starting on Tuesday, August 30th after school. We will first meet in Mr. Hatch's Room (B55) and then go out to play. You can sign up with Mr. Hatch or Mrs. Renzello (D137), or just come ready to play on August 30th. Don't worry if you have never played before. Girls of all grades and experience level are welcome.
Loafer Hike
Parents, each fall we have a group of students tackle the challenge of hiking to the top of Loafer Mountain. This is scheduled for Friday, September 9th. There are some pre-requisites that must be done before they are allowed to join the challenge. Get with Mr. Archer, boys PE teacher, if you are interested.
