"The National Family Partnership organized the first Nationwide Red Ribbon Campaign. NFP provides drug awareness by sponsoring the annual National Red Ribbon Campaign™. Since its beginning in 1985, the Red Ribbon has touched the lives of millions of people around the world. In response to the murder of DEA Agent Enrique Camarena, angered parents and youth in communities across the country began wearing Red Ribbons as a symbol of their commitment to raise awareness of the killing and destruction cause by drugs in America." PJHS supports a drug free life by celebrating Red Ribbon Week each year. Part of the celebration includes a two mile fun run. This year, students and faculty ran the race and had a great time!
The top finishers in each grade are as follows:

9th grade boys: Chase Tinger
8th grade girls: Dayna Chapa
8th grade boys: Kasen Johnson
7th grade girls: Rylee Diamond
7th grade boys: Kaleb Anson
Congratulations to these winners and all those who ran the race!
