The National Junior Honor Society is a nationally recognized program created to encourage enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage good citizenship in the students of secondary schools. All 9th graders with a GPA of 3.5 or higher are encourage to apply to join the National Junior Honor Society. Besides looking great on a resume, it is an excellent opportunity to meet new friends, learn new skills, and perform service within the community. Pick up an application in the library today. Talk to Mrs. Mower or Mrs. Elliot for details.
